Introduction
Before I go on with explaining about the lecture I would like to indulge in my love for language.
As I am a Dutch native speaker, and the terms/words I used for the Dutch version of the website are not translatable exactly to English, with the same power of usage and imagination, I will be using another word with a slightly different meaning, which I'll come to explain. I really love language, and especially how you can play with words and their meaning. And certainly how they hide secrets of Life. If one wants to express himself -and during history there have been millions of times that people felt the need to create a new word for a feeling they could not express before with the words they had to their disposal - one wants to do that as good as possible. One wants then to turn inside, to make connection on a deeper level with themselves, to express that feeling and give it form as good as possible. With those words they express a deeper level of their being. And eventually, of our being. We start using those words to also express our feelings, but we almost never use them in the same deepness as he who originated that specific word. We pass by on that deeper level. But it is so beautiful to take the time and analyse from where it came and what real power, deepness, wisdom and secrets of Life that it houses. So for the Dutch words as well as for the English ones. What I want to make clear now is the difference between the Dutch word 'bewustzijn' and the English word 'realisation' that I will use and play with to state for this tab of lectures. 'Bewustzijn' can be translated as consciousness/awareness. You speak it out, walk over it, things said and that's it. But if you split it up in Dutch you get the words 'bewust' and 'zijn'.

And now things become a whole lot different. Those two short words have more power when split than that they carry when joint, oh sorry, joined together.
These two words, when switched, mean as much as 'being' 'conscious'. Well that is what I find something different and to me shows the origin and power of that word. Really being conscious in the moment, being conscious of what you are experiencing in every second. And taking responsibility for that. Creating consciously what you experience, 'conscious' in your 'being'. 'Being' 'conscious' is a state of mind. In those words there is no action in time attached to. It is something what happens now, timelessness. Personally, I don't know a word in English which means 'consciousness', stands for a state of mind which happens now and which I can split up to more words to make clear its origin. But I have found that other word in English, 'realisation', which I will use. Hopefully you'll enjoy it as much, or even more. 'Realisation' stands more for an action in time, a development of something, of consciousness, 'becoming conscious' whilst 'bewustzijn' is 'being conscious'. But when analyzed it may get another meaning in its use too, a more profound one. One to stand still at. So for a good understanding try to read the word 'realisation' in its meaning of 'becoming conscious'. As those words have a certain different meaning I will also have to adapt my text for the English version. It won't be quite the same but I did my best to give it as much depth as for the Dutch version. So far for my explanation of differences in meaning for the words which I use for the Dutch version and English version of my website. Anyone curious for what Google Translate would make of it? Now you can go on with reading what the lectures will be about. |

Realisation... it is so abstract, intangible, impalpable and unreal. It is volatile as ether and if you look at it from a distance, or even only from a few seconds ago, it seems non-existing, has no reason or even a basis of existence.
Realisation, one moment there is some, the other something else or...none. We can't grab it. And grasp?
We can't catch it nor seize. And receive?
We can't see it just like that nor prove. Physically we can only see expressions, 'ex' 'press' 'ions', -oh God, what do I love this- of our realisations. By what we create, by what we realize in matter.
Although, it is everything what drives us. We want to experience things, discover, sense, undergo.
And is it then that physical, that matter we want to experience?

And is it then that physical, that matter we want to experience?

No,...it is all what it creates in our consciousness, in our realisation. What causes which feeling, which experience, which sense?
Or is it : 'Which feeling causes what'? 'Which feeling causes which consequences?'
Each time something new, something different. Something what we haven't experienced and don't know yet. Something what surprises us. It shouldn't be the same again because that we know already. That touches us no more. It has to be different.
And do we find peace in it? Distraction, yes, excitement and emotions too. But also peace, serenity? Or do we burn ourselves up? Do we burn out? To state it 'up to date'.
Realisation, it is something so subtle.
And yet... 'real' 'I' 'sation' is something so powerful, so latently present and carries so much energy in it.
'Real' 'I' 'sation' gives direction to your life. It is giving form to your 'Real' 'I' and in the end... experiencing the profoundness of 'Real' 'I' 'sensation'. Experiencing who You Really are.
It is building at and on a solid base. It is giving structure to something which is so much more than a physical body which has been brought into being by conception and rides its ride on earth on the fuel that it takes through food and then burned up, exhausted and used up rides itself into its grave.
'Real' 'I' 'sation' is really living, and especially truly. It is giving food to something you were already before. It is making a crossover from that one to the other.
'Real' 'I' 'sation' isn't a change anymore for the sake of changing but a consistent holding on to a deeper truth in yourself. Something what is intangible, but exceeds the physical by far.
'Real' 'I' 'sation' is to realise that the physical life is not more than crossing a pool which you wade through ankle-deep, ...and sometimes even a bit deeper...
And if you keep holding on to that, and gradually come to realise that Love is the most important thing in life, and also keep holding on to that, then you create for yourself and the others a piece of Heaven on Earth.
How you can come to that, the mechanisms that go behind the universe and how you can understand them gradually, and even surpass, is what this lecture is about :
'Heaven? Closer than you think.'
This lecture is given both to businesses, schools and organizations where the focus and level each time is shifted depending on the target audience.
On the basis of very simple insights I explain systems in which everyone plays a part and is subjected to. This with the aim to bring as many people to understanding these systems and what their responsibility is in it.
For those people who are receptive to it, both adults and children, this may be the trigger to take responsibility for their lives and thus to create more harmony. Each individual eventually finds more happiness in harmony than in disharmony.
Every family, every school, every organization or company has more benefit in harmony than in individuals fighting each other.
People who are aware of their Soul are so much happier and 'richer', but also more valuable for what they are part of.
Inspire people to understand that and to make those choices is my goal with this lecture.
